Simple and Healthy

I am not a certified nutritionist. Nor a chef / cooker.  I actually graduated in Tourism, and the only link between my major and my passion for healthy eating is that it was revealed when I was traveling. The curious detail about it is that I was living in US, a Country known for its junk food. While in US, I lived with a certified nutritionist, who taught me everything I know today, or at least showed me the way. It was 2005 and since then I read everything I can about this subject and try to spread the word.

The idea of creating a blog came during a talk with my coworkers in the bathroom after lunch. After explaining a few things about food and human body that sounded like a revealed mystery, I thought that maybe I should put it out there the simplest way I could. So, here I am.

I don’t know how this is going to turn out. My goal now is to write once a week about something we should know to eat and be healthy, or a healthy and delicious recipe. It all comes from reliable sources, and not from my head. I am not creating hypothesis, I am passing a message by sharing what I read and learn.

An additional note: I am brazilian, so my native language is portuguese. My goal #2 is to write this blog in portuguese too. Why I choose english? First of all it is the world language. I mean, if you want to reach a greater audience, chose english. Secondly, most of the things I read are in english, so it is easier to write the scientifical expressions. And last but not least, I need to keep training and improving my english!

So, let’s do it! Let’s eat healthy and feel great!
